This is
a prequal to a series I have not read, but that I can already tell I will love
when I get around to reading the rest of it. This is a little under 200 pages
of fated mates, demons, brewing war, deals made, and smut. I have read plenty
of demon human smut, but the dealmaker magic was unique and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
The
main characters are both wonderful, but the touch her and die male? Always
going to be the choice. I don’t want to say too much about the book and give
away everything as it is a shorter read. I really want to know what is going to
happen with the kingdom, because war is definitely brewing. I will absolutely
be reading on in this series at some point. I really loved all the descriptive
sceneries and animals that we meet along the way. That was probably my favorite
part, honestly.
