Kid stopped in his home town and went to the Winchester family diner. He knew he wasn’t welcome there with the feud still well in place, but no one cooked better than a Winchester. Sierra had left her good for nothing husband and was working at the diner with her Maemaw when Kid came in. Damned MacMillan, but he may be the only one willing to help her.

If you are new here this is book 6 in an absolutely amazing contemporary
romance MC club series. They could be read as stand-alones if you care zero for
background plot. I don’t suggest it. You really need to know about the other
club and the background characters. All very important.
This
book isn’t as heavily focused on the club as some of the other books, though.
This book focuses on Sierra’s issues with her ex husband and everything he puts
her through while she finds her way with Kid. Kid has always been a fixture in
these books popping up as someone loyal, trustworthy, and a little unhinged. He
kept that vibe in this book and I couldn’t be happier with how this book ended.
I will
say that I didn’t read books 6 and 7 in order. I accidentally read book 7 first,
so I got a few spoilers along the way. It did not take away from the enjoyment
of this book at all and I would love to read more by this author in the future.
That being said, I couldn’t imagine a better fate for her ex.
