Book Review: 21 Days by Bethany Lopez (Time for Love Book 2)

Would you ever risk your friendship with one of your best friends and most important people in your life just to see if there might be something more? When TJ looses everything and stays with Sasha they have to decide if the sparks flying between them are worth the possibility of losing someone who means everything to them. But with no strings attached it won't be so bad, right?
Definitely a must read. Rich redhead meets sexy mechanic. Yum. Managed to read the entire book without putting it down except to feed the baby. Really want to read the next book because I have no doubt that it will be just as amazing as this book and I want to know how these two pan out in the next book since they will obviously be in it in a more minor role.
Awe my tiny human was just a baby when I posted this! Anyway, I am going back through my reviews and adding links for purchase. This book is available for $3.99 on Amazon by clicking here.

Book Review: Finders Keepers by Stephen King (The Bill Hodges Trilogy Book 2)

Image result for finders keepers    Did you ever wonder what happened to the survivor's of the Mercedes killing in Mr. Mercedes? Did the ones that were hurt lose everything or maybe they had to be taken care of for the rest of their lives. Now we have a sneak peak into the lives of one of the families struck in that rampage. Only its from the son's point of view.  Sometimes you only really know what you would do once it's too late.
Honestly I would have done everything almost the same as young Pete. I would have helped with funds from a buried treasure but the books. I like to think that I would have donated them to a publisher so that they could be enjoyed by the world. Once I had read them of course. But who knows what you would do when faced with some literary treasures. Run your fingers over the moleskin's with Pete in Stephen King's Finders Keepers.
I am going back through my old posts to add links to get the books. This book is available for purchase on Amazon for $8.49 by clicking here

Book Review: Shaken by Susan Hatler (Mind Reader Book 1)

What would you think if all of a sudden you could read minds? That you were so much more than you had ever known and your father of all people had hidden it from you. Totally not fair. So now on top of being the awkward nerdy teenager that you are you also have to deal with being able to peek into people's minds. Just great. And what else if your father keeping from you? Who can you trust now?
Explore the minds of others with Kylie.

I really enjoyed this book. From the mind reading and secrets. I felt like I could relate to Kylie since in High School I was the nerdy girl with a 4.0 who any time a guy talked to me I would be a complete smart-aleck. Still do to people who I don't know that try to talk to me in all honesty. But it is a great book and you will feel every emotion that Kylie is going through as if you are running through the cemetery with her and Trip or even at gun point. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have if you give it the time.
I am going through my old reviews and adding links for purchase to them. This book is available on Amazon for $4.99 by clicking here.

Book Review: Struck by Jennifer Bosworth

How would you feel if you were the breaking point of if the world would end or just keep right on going? Most of us never give it much thought or are just insignificant singles that are part of a larger problem. But not Mia. When lightening seeks you out and strikes you all the time then you are something special. But special enough to save the world? Or bring it's end? Probably not. But who knows.
Burn with Mia as she struggles with the things she can do and the choices that she must make.

This was really an amazing book and took me by surprise. The cults fighting against each other trying to reach a single goal. To save the world and to end it. I couldn't stop reading this until I was finished. I would say couldn't put it down but it was an audio-book and I'm not one to lie. Through the entire book the song Call Me by Shinedown struck me as fitting since she is trying to run from who she is and yet is drawn to what she is at the same time.  Definitely suggest this book for anyone who is fond of end of the world books or even a strange phenomena and how masses of people deal with destruction.  Let the lightening race through you and hopefully you make the right choices.
I am going through all of my old reviews and posting links so that others can easily get these books as well! This book is available on Amazon for $7.78 by clicking here.

Book Review: Kindling Flames: Gathering Tinder by Julie Wetzel (The Ancient Fire Series Book 1)

Pro pbid 18833    Imagine just getting a new job and it is everything you could hope for and more. You are the personal secretary of the boss of a multi-million dollar company. You get to drive his expensive cars and get free lunches in the cafeteria. Added bonus your boss is super hot. Only catch? He's a vampire and one of his buddies tried to eat you before he could get to you.
Speed with Victoria though this book that will leave you hanging on every word and spellbound for the next in the series.
I am going to count this as a review, even if it is a shoddy one, as I don't remember most of this book. I am so sorry for those who have read my reviews since the beginning! I am going through all of my old reviews and posting a link so you can enjoy them as well. This book is available for free on Amazon by clicking here.

Book Review: King, King, Goose? by Mandy M. Roth

Can't really give too many details about this one without giving away the entire story but it's a very cute little story about a man who is trying to please his wife by giving her Christmas in his realm but he isn't really sure what it is.
I guess that counts as a review? We are going to go with it because I remember none of this book. Sorry, lovlies. I am going through my old posts and adding links to get them if you'd like to do so. This short story is available at Amazon for free by clicking here.

Book Review: The Gift by Margaret McHeyzer (The Butterfly Effect Book 1)

Pro pbid 3959870    We all fear something going wrong with us that is deadly. Such as an appendix bursting. Because of just that Alexa had to be rushed to the hospital and everything seemed routine. Except when she woke up.
Touching another should never bring on premonitions, but it did for Alexa. Could you imagine seeing someone's death playing out? Well the first time was bad enough so the second time it happened she had to do something about it. Sometimes that is the biggest mistake of all.
She was captured days later on her way to school by the very person she saved. Now she can never go home and must help him for the rest of her life. Will anything make this torture worth it? Could she ever go home and keep her family safe at the same time?
Visualize her waking nightmare in this spellbinding book.
Still not an actual review, 2017 me, but the synopsis wasn't half bad on this one! Sadly, I don't remember anything about this book. I am sure it was great since I used the word "spellbinding." None-the-less I am going through all of my old posts and adding a link to purchase the book. This book is available on Amazon for $2.99 by clicking here.

Book Review: Bond by Tasha Black (Intergalactic Dating Agency Book 1)

Pro pbid 3584877    Have you ever wondered what a real alien would be like? Neither had Posey when she and her two friends went to the little town of Stargazer to sell her eggs.
Once she gets there she learns that not only are aliens real but that they have just signed on the be their brides.
"I don't want to be an alien bride" the words flashed like a neon sign in her head any time she was around Bond, the alien who had chosen her.
Can she get past the fact that he is an alien and truly find love?
I will shamelessly state that I love love love mail order bride books. I am not really sure why, but I completely do. And apparently anything alien related. Weird, right? None the less this book is great and book 2 is on my eventual TBR. I am going through my old posts and updating them to include a link for purchase. This book is available on Amazon for free by clicking here.

Book Review: Parched by Z. L. Arkadie (Parched Series Book 1)

Pro pbid 7116    Has anyone just swept you off your feet and left you breathless? That's what happened to clarity on her one date with Barron Ford. Then he disappeared for years.
Now she is working at her Dad's company and has worked her way to the top, but Baron is back. Her mother is warning her to stay away from him and everything around her is about to change.
She's been found. Yet by what or why she doesn't know. Can she trust Baron with her life and her heart?
Travel with Clarity as she finds out who she is and flow with her emotions as they threaten to drown you.
I remember loving this book, but not a whole lot else about it. I wish I had actually posted a review about it then, for which I am so sorry. I do know that because of this book I went through and got several more of this author's books. Most of which I have yet to read. I am going through all my posts and adding a link to purchase them. This book is available on Amazon for $4.98 by clicking here.

Book Review: Tempted by a Rogue Prince by Felicity Heaton (Eternal Mates Book 3)

When everything has been taken from you and yet your immortal what else is there to do but wander? Veil was ensnared by a evil witch named Cordula and forced to do unspeakable things to all those he loved.
Now he is face to face with another witch, this time named Roslyn who is trying to heal him once he is captured by the demon king of the 5th realm of hell. Every instinct in him is telling him to kill her before she can cast her spell on him.
Only thing is maybe it is too late...for both of them.
Yet another where no actual review was done. Tempted by a Rogue Prince once more follows someone who was in the other books. He wasn't a character that I initially liked in the other books, but my opinion of him greatly changed after this book. I am going through all my old posts and adding purchase links. This book is available for purchase through Amazon for $4.99 by clicking here.

Book Review: Claimed by a Demon King by Felicity Heaton

When two men fight over you it is never fun. Especially when one is convinced you are is other half and the other is one of your best friends. This is the situation Sable finds herself in while helping the demon king in a war.
Ever since Sable's best friend Olivia met Loren their lives have changed and maybe Sable was a little jealous of them but for some reason she couldn't get that demon off her mind. Only problems are Blue, her friend and Loren's general, and her never wanting to be controlled.
Will the demon kings past soften this warrior females heart or will her friend win hers in the end? Battle it out in this amazing page turner.
I can't wait till it reaches the point where I was actually doing reviews of these books. This is atrocious. This book, however, was not. It has been a few years since I read this book, but as I mentioned in book one I love this series. You follow one of the characters from book one in book two. This is not one of the books that starts lacking after book one! I am going through and updating all of my posts to include a link to purchase the book. This book is available on Amazon for $4.99 by clicking here.

Book Review: Kissed by a Dark Prince by Felicity Heaton

How long would you wait to find your other half? Loren has waited over 400 years when he is dropped on the doorstep of the doctor, Olivia. The attraction is instantaneous on both sides, but when he bites her the bond is forged.
Can the bond be broken or do they really even want it to? Both of their pasts may keep them apart or it may even draw them together.
Teleport through the realms to find out.
Once again I am appalled at my lack of actually reviewing books in 2017. I got hooked on Felicity Heaton pretty hard as a result of this book. This one is the first book in the series and every book that I have read in the series leaves nothing to be desired. This is truly a great paranormal romance book! I am going through and updating all of my old reviews to include links to purchase the books. This book is available on Amazon for $0.99 by clicking here.

Book Review: Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas

Pro pbid 19824    We hear about Stockholm syndrome but always think, no that could never happen to me if I was kidnapped. But what if you were? That's what Emily was faced with when she was nabbed in a bar after one of her seminars.
Her captor locked her away in a room that was completely monotone playing at her need to stimulation. Could depriving her of this most basic need for human contact and stimulation really drive her into the arms of this madman? Would escape ever be possible?
Would she ever be able to live a normal life if he did let her go? One thing is for sure, chicken noodle soup and crackers will never be the same again.
This book was definitely an odd one for me, and as I am noticing more often than not back in 2017 I didn't actually review the book so much as just create a synopsis of the book. For that I am sorry. This is actually a book I remember in great detail as it was one of the only Stockholm books I have ever read. Weirdly enough I really liked this book and still think about it from time to time. This book is $4.99 on Amazon by clicking here.

Book Review: Maid for the Billionaire by Ruth Cardello

Pro pbid 7862    When you lose your family you do what you have to do. For Abby this means stepping up and playing mommy to her kid sister. Even when her kid sister becomes an adult she hasn't quite figured out how to be who she had been before.
That is until the mysterious man from her hotel maid job convinces him to go with him to China during his business trip. All sex. No commitments. Abby decides that she can do this after some coaxing from her sister so they set off.
Once there Abby is forced to have guards while her mystery man is at meetings and then is contacted by a strange woman who tells Abby that if she does not act now it will cost Dominic his company.
Only problem is, Dominic doesn't know. Can Abby risk losing someone who brings out the best in her to save his company? Could you?
I hate to admit it, but I did a terrible job of reviewing this book back in 2017. It is a good enough synopsis, and it stirs some memories of the book. The problem is this was 3 years ago. I was going back to adding links to purchase each one of the books I have reviewed. From what I remember this is a great book that has a good mix of romance and just pure sex. This book is available on Kindle Unlimited or buy your copy for $4.99 by clicking here.

Book Review: Sacrificed to the Dragon by Jessie Donovan

This was a really good book. What would the strength of your love for your family drive you to do?
Pro pbid 18465For Melanie the answer was anything. Even stay with a dragon shifter for 6 months trying to conceive a child with him. If it didn't work well she gets to go home. And if not...well she doesn't want to think about that just yet.
Melanie did not want to be where she was and yet the love of her bother drove her into the arms of a dragon. Not that he wants her there Humans killed his mother long ago. But human-dragon relations are strained and if everything works then maybe this inquisitive little human can strengthen the bonds between not only she and her unwilling mate but also between dragons and humans.
Goodness. I am going back and adding links to purchase the books to all of my older posts. I can't believe that my review of this book was "This was a really good book." Oh, how things have changed since 2017. None the less I remember this book and it is a shifter novel that proves just how far the love of family can take anyone and that some love is stronger than even the vilest of misdeeds. I hope you check out this book and enjoy it as much as I did. You know I had to to still remember details of it almost 3 years later.  This book is free on Amazon by clicking here.

Book Review: Pleasure Extraordinaire Book 1 by Liv Bennett

A job interview can easily turn into so much more. Suddenly you are face to face with the most beautiful man you have ever seen. And he wants to pay you to be his girlfriend. Sounds weird, right? Well, he is a multi-millionaire who is gay and doesn't want anyone to know, ever.
Which means you don't ever have to sleep with the man and you can even have your needs taken care of at an elite palace of fun. Just don't step on any toes, and whatever you do don't sleep with any of your new bosses sexy sons.
Should be easy enough, too bad one has his sights on you and hes built like a God.
I enjoyed this book, I just did not enjoy the fact that it stopped so quickly after you just started getting into the book. I for one, am not a fan of when an author breaks one story into multiple books. I would rather pay more for the book to be all together rather than just getting what feels like a teaser of the book.
I am going through and adding links to all of my old posts where readers can purchase the book, if they so desire.. This book is free on Amazon by clicking here.

Book Review: Craving by Stephanie Summers

Pro pbid 1063860    How would you feel if your "master" had told you you had to come home from abroad and settle down in some little Podunk town forever? Have to leave the shimmering twilights of London, New York,  and Paris just to be tied to some mortal girl for her entire life.
Or what if you were born in the wrong year and now you have been chosen to spend your entire life chained to some vampire you have never met and you will never get out of this town you have always wanted to escape. How about never see your family again?
I'll tell you how. You'd be beyond mad. Detesting the other half that you now have to cope with until you can either escape or die. Maybe there is a loop hole in this plan, maybe you can get away, maybe the death of the tiny human isn't that bad. Or maybe just maybe as many years as she has will be the best of your life.
That all depends on if the best of a bad situation can be made or maybe the stone wall around both of their hearts will never come down.
Plot your escape with Sabine and Remy in this alluring tale.
I am going back through all of my old reviews and adding links to be able to purchase them. Please click here to get this book for $3.99.

Book Review: Hidden Monster By Amanda Strong

I can honestly say that I loved this book. I had an idea who the "Monster" was but how they were the monster took me completely by surprise and left me feeling more sorry for them than actually upset. Every step of this book had me waiting on the next page.
When everything about you gets taken and you are left wondering who you are, knowing that you are changed in ways that you may never be able to speak of again then you know you are in the right place with this book.
Sammy will have you wrapped around her finger and riding the emotional roller-coaster right along with her. Hoping that she can make it through everything that is going on, falling for the boy, and even discovering that she is more than she had ever known and how much that she means to someone that she has only just met.
Sometimes the things that set you apart can also set you free.
I am going back and editing all of my old reviews. This is from September, 2017, so I apologize for how different it is from my more recent reviews. This book is available on Amazon for free by clicking here.

Book Review: Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King (The Bill Hodges Trilogy Book 1)

This was an amazing book. I loved that this was something that could easily happen in real life. The antagonist was well rounded and it was like a mystery instead of King's normal horror. This entire book leaves you wondering if the antagonist will ever be caught, who he is from the snippets of his life that we catch, and if our protagonist can catch him in time.
We find ourselves in a small town during the recession when it was hitting everyone hard and everyone was just trying to get by. King shows us just how many people who were willing to work lost jobs all too easily at that point and the lengths they would go to just to be able to provide for their family. Even if that means bringing their small baby out on a drizzly foggy night to wait in line for a job fair.
While many people lost their lives in this we get to see how bad the economy was at one point and how this affected some people more than others. All in all I would not change a thing about this book. Even the antagonists final attempt at a mass murder left me holding my breath...and partially hoping that he would succeed in getting the person everyone was there to see.
If you ever find yourself wondering if this is a book you should read then take a chance, open that spine and get lost in a whole new world with the wonders that is King.

Book Review: Salem's Lot by Stephen King

Flashes of fangs and disappearing into the night. Things that you associate with many authors but not usually our beloved King. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised by this book. A new rendition on the old versions of vampires that has nothing to do with romancing them.
King allows our minds to wander back to the glorious days of Dracula with a old mansion on a hill that all the locals are afraid of and yet it is different. No romancing this time and the captives just seem to wander off on their own rather than being dragged. None the less this book is a must read for King lovers and for those who are new to his majesty.

Book Review: The Dark Tower 2: Drawing of the Three

Stephen King has always been and will always be my favorite author but the Dark Tower series is my least favorite of all. Book 1 introduces us to Rowland, who is travelling across a desert wasteland in search of this Dark Tower. Then we pick up in Book 2 where he now has this tag along guy and they are still going across this wasteland only now they have to escape from these huge crablike creatures.
In all honestly it helps the entire series calls many of King's other books into play as they always do; so it helps to read them if you are an avid King reader.  By doing so you have that additional insight into his other books (such as the little boy in Insomnia, who makes a appearance in the Tower series).
It may pick up in quality later on in the series and if you enjoy westerns then this might be for you. Personally, I have not been able to move on to book 3 yet.
