Julia got herself pregnant after a one night stand that she never planned to have. But a deep connection to the drifter made her find comfort in his body. Since then she found she is pregnant. With no way to contact him she assumes he would want nothing to do with the baby or her until he shows up at her home. Can she trust this man enough to let him in her life and around her son?
Shane has regretted having to walk away from his human from the day he spent the night in her tent, but now that she is back on the mountain and has his child he may be able to reveal himself as he truly is. The only problem is with all of the pain in his past can he really move past that in order to be the mate and father that he wants to be?
There are a few things about this book that I personally do not like. For instance, the title. The book is called the bear's unwanted baby. But, he wanted him from the moment he knew he was his and there was never a moment of hesitation when it came to that. Another thing was that the author often referred to Cody as "the baby" or "the child". That bothers me as a parent and it is also poor writing. The other and final thing that I do not like is this one book was basically two little novellas crammed together.
This is not a bad book or even a hard read but at the end of the day it is not my preference. Considering that I love paranormal romance and devour them every chance that I get this is surprising but everyone has their own preferences. The book could use a little bit of a re-write and be transitioned into two novellas but things happen.
This book is available on Amazon for $2.99 at https://amzn.to/2yXEiZe
