Book Review: Dragons Don't Cry by D'Elen McClain

Image result for dragons don't cry    Bastian is cursed to have to have a bride every 100 years who he must watch grow old and die as he stays young. After all the brides he has had in the past he has decided he will not take another but loneliness forces him back to the claiming ceremony again where he finds Acacia, his newest bride. She is everything he could ever want. Strong minded, willful, beautiful, and so smart. But can he take losing her too?
Loved the twist on the cliche of being given away for the greater good. The whole sacrificial lamb thing. But I love that it is an actual love story and doesn't play with the Stockholm syndrome. Much. This really is a great book and I look forward to trying book 2 to see if Acacia has a child or what is next.
This book is available for purchase on Amazon for $0.99 at https://amzn.to/3fUgWEh.
