Clemeny is no rookie to the supernatural events that unfold in the streets of London. However, when she is assigned to a special case involving missing children she never expected just what other paranormals truly lurked in the shadows. She has until Christmas to solve these disappearances or the children may be lost forever.
I got this book as part of a boxed set including books 1-3. Links for my other reviews are listed below, if you would like to check them out. While this is book 3 in a series and you would be missing some of the characters back-stories, you can read this book as a stand-alone. It is Christmas themed and I really don't want to give away who the culprit is.
We get more of Clemeny and her boss in this book, although any budding romances are still very mild. I will keep my fingers crossed that book 4, which is on my TBR, will have a bit more of that aspect. That being said, the action and all the paranormal adventure is still very present in the series and we do not feel like we are missing out on anything just because the main character is not in a relationship. Also, we still get the fun of the setting. I will say that this is likely my favorite book in the series so far, just because of who is behind the kidnappings.
This book is available on Kindle Unlimited or buy it on Amazon for $4.99 by clicking here.
