Book Review: New Beginnings (Others of Edenton Book .5) by Brandy L. Rivers

New Beginnings (Others of Edenton) by [Brandy L Rivers]    Jess made one drunken mistake with her alpha and now she has to get out of town. The man had been trying to get her to sleep with him for years, but now that she had while drunk he was going to become unbearable. Thankfully there is a bar for sale with another pack and they are willing to take her in. Thank god for small favors. Except there is something about this new alpha that has her wolf sitting up and taking notice. Could she really be thinking of jumping from Gregory to Slater?

Physics, wolves, empaths, elementals, and fae all in one town equals a whole lot of fun for this group. This is a book that has a sassy chick who doesn't back down from anyone and a man that isn't a complete caveman. Well, some of the men in the book are cavemen, but if they weren't then the book wouldn't have had any realistic points.

Honestly, I don't have any complaints about this book. It was a fast read, although that is likely more from how much I enjoyed it versus the actual length of the book. All sections were resolved and we have a clear understanding of where the next book will pick up and who the characters in it will be. The best way, in my opinion, for a series to be. Finish one thought before moving on to the next and don't break one book into multiple.
