Book Review: Hungry Moon Quicksilver by Claudy Conn

Hungry Moon-Quicksilver by [Claudy Conn, Karen Babcock]     When Ravena is cheated on by her boyfriend with her best friend she decides to head to the highlands to spend some time with her father. Only when she gets there she learns that he will be leaving for a few weeks to get married. Instead finds herself helping Arthur, who she considers like a grandfather, free a werewolf from a portal where he is trapped. The connection between herself and Quinn is undeniable, but can she trust him to be different from her last boyfriend?

Quinn has been trapped in Delmar, a previous fae vacation spot, through a portal by the grandson of someone he killed years ago. The black magic can only be broken by one person and it now appears that she has been found. Not only has she been found but her wolf calls to his. There is nothing he can do to protect her when she is outside the portal until the curse is broken, though.

Magic, shifters, fae, and immortals. Oh my. This book has it all and a combination. For once out of the books I have been reading recently there is a nice background story going on, but the actual story is resolved during it's pages. There is nothing unresolved between the two of them and that part of the story is nicely wrapped up. Definitely a nice change from a lot of series books that you read anymore. This romance is fun to read and will leave you looking forward to the next page and what happens next.
