Book Review: Deception by Stacy Claflin

Image result for deception by stacy    Seeming to never fit into your own family is hard and then these mysterious things start happening to you and the only ones who seem to know what is going on is your best friend from elementary school that you haven't seen in years. Now all of a sudden they tell you that you are adopted, your parents know nothing about it, that you are a vampire, and above all that you are a princess. As if things aren't complicated enough people are trying to kill you. Just great. This is the fate that Alexis has found herself in, but maybe the alluring Cliff can take some of the edge off.
Loved this book from start to finish. I hope that her and Cliff are able to get together as they should. I like him much better than her friend. I look forward to being able to read book 2 eventually. If you like a good vampire romance that isn't smut then look no farther.

Book Review: Silence by Tasha Preston

Image result for silence by natasha preston    Oakley hasn't spoken to anyone or even written anything to communicate since she was 5 and now she is turning 15. Her mom is constantly trying to fix her but Oakley is just staying quiet for her families sake. The only one is isn't trying to change her is her best friend, Cole. Too bad she has went and fallen in love with him. But how could he ever love someone who will never be able to talk to him?
I spent the entire book on the edge of my seat waiting to see if she would ever speak and tell exactly what happened. I hate that it happened to her and I wonder what life will hold her her and hopefully Cole in book 2. It is definitely getting added to my TBR.
