Book Review: Year One by Nora Roberts

Image result for year one by nora roberts    Something evil has been summoned to Earth from the dark recesses of Hell and is spreading a sickness upon almost 70% of the population. There is no survival once you have it. But for those left, the immune or those who are the Uncanny, it is a different kind of fight for survival. Some must face the Raiders, who just wish to destroy everything while those who now have powers, like being a fairy or a witch, must face the religious nuts who believe they are at fault. What good can come of so much bad? Will there be any positives or will civilization fall as so much of humanity has?
This book will have you sad, happy, and every emotion in between as you follow three sects of survivors to the point they connect then follow just one on to the end. If you are anything like me you will leave a small piece of your soul within these pages and I already yearn to read book two so that I know what happens to the little child. If post apocalyptic books hold any interest with you then this will be one for you. Once again Nora Roberts has not disappointed.
This book is available on Amazon for $8.99 at https://amzn.to/2X4Eo9b.
