Book Review: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

Image result for girl with the dragon tattoo book    Blomkvist has been convicted of libel against Wennerstrom and must now go to goal, or prison, and is voluntarily stepping down as the publisher at his magazine in an attempt to keep it afloat. Meanwhile Henrik Vanger has decided to take the reporter on to do a little investigating for him into the disappearance of his niece from 40 years ago. There seems to be no stone left un-turned but is it possible that the reporter could actually find out what happened to the young girl after all this time? The more time he spends with the little computer hacker, Salander, the more possible it may seem.
Wretched book. It takes a lot for me to say that but this is not a book that has held my attention and it took almost 2 weeks to get through the 643 pages of this. I bought this book and the next two in the series on the recommendation of one of my colleagues at work and am going to do my best to read them before I sell them to her, just to get the money I wasted back on it. There are some slightly interesting portions of the book, all that include Salander, but in the end it is a fluff piece. If you are interested in a story that is mostly business and stock market than look no farther but otherwise, go enjoy a nice book.
This book is available on Amazon for $8.99 at https://amzn.to/2TgIk5M.
