Book Review: Royal Dragon by Charlene Hartnady

Image result for Royal Dragon by Charlene Hartnady    Being kidnapped can't get any worse. Especially when you are actually carried away in the talons of a dragon to god only knows where then locked in a dark room with other people and told a frightening things. They must run for their lives while dragon males chase and then claim them. Too bad for Julie she doesn't want to ever be claimed. Especially not when she can't ever trust anyone ever again.
When Cole captures Julie he is completely against all things human. The weak pathetic human could never turn his head but if he must mate a human for his brother and his kingdom than he would. Maybe they can both get past their pasts and make something better. Or better yet he could take her home.
This book was one that caught me by surprise. I kind of expected it to be a Stockholm syndrome like book but it actually is not. I am very excited about the next book in the series and fully intend to listen to it as soon as possible. For anyone who is interested this book is on YouTube as an audio-book and so is book two which I will be starting in the next couple of days. Hopefully it will be as good as book one. It already promises to be full of drama and I want to know what the head strong Water King did that was so bad that this claimed female decided to go back to her own world instead of staying with a man that is crazy about her.
This book is available on Amazon on Kindle Unlimited at https://amzn.to/3bFVcsi.
