I discovered this book through a Facebook ad and downloaded it immediately. After reading so many romances, I was craving something purely horrific—and this absolutely delivered.
A seemingly wholesome YouTuber known for children’s content hides a horrifying secret. He spies on people, lures them into a deadly competition, and live-streams their suffering to viewers on the dark web. The participants are free to use anything inside the fully refurbished mall, but only one can make it out alive. If you don't escape by 2:00 AM, the building will explode.
There is zero romance in this story. The narrative jumps between characters as they are hunted—or become hunters themselves. It’s brutal, disturbing, and vividly descriptive. And I loved every second of it.
I would read more from this author without hesitation. In fact, I hope he has many more utterly unhinged stories waiting in the wings.
