Gods. I don't know if I have accurately depicted how much I am OBSESSED with this series. Books 1 & 2 had plenty of action, but were low spice. Then there is this book that absolutely brings the spice. Don't worry if you loved the amount of action in the others because the author didn't disappoint on that either. I loved it from cover to cover and NEED an Omega nest. Because swoon.
This is still a dark enemies to lovers, but we are firmly in the lovers portion now. Still multiple partners, obviously, and they do engage in acts all together and separately. Which means Sadie FINALLY loses that card she's been holding on to and gets up to all kinds of depraved fun. For instance, that first scene with Xerxes? All of my yes. The biting. The roughness. It was just so wonderfully depraved. Oh. Or the exhibitionist scene? I cannot stress enough how much I love these books.
I love the big test in this book, even if he was kind of an asshole for it. Cobra is my favorite. Or maybe Jaxx. or Xerxes...I've forgiven Axel but he's no longer top three material. The groveling was nice though. And so deserved. He got off easy as far as I'm concerned. And he is adorable.
Also...Sadie's new trick. LOVE that. This book fully wraps up Sadie's perspective and although she forgives Dick I will forever hate his guts. FOREVER. Just so you know the attitude that we loved in books 1 & 2 is still alive and well in book 3. My best friend is still tired of getting screenshots of these books and will be glad when I finish this series.
Although this book ends Sadie's perspective the series isn't over yet. The book ends on a cliff-hanger featuring our favorite vampire.
