Book Review: Bound by a Dragon by Linda K. Hopkins

Image result for Bound by a Dragon by Linda K. Hopkins    Kiera is a small village country girl who sells her father's handmade kitchen wares at the market and helps her parents out with the farm chores. Edmond, the annoying man-child whom her mother expects her to marry one day, is getting more earnest in his advances and she would rather become a nun. In fact none of the men in her village suit her liking very much, until a Drake comes to town. But what chance does a simple farm girl have of capturing the interests of a Drake?
Aaron has come back to his birth-place in search of answers and to put the end of his parent's lives to rest in his mind, but when a little brunette captures his attention his stay may just be indefinitely extended. But can he grasp onto his humanity and allow this woman to fall for not only the man but also the beast that he hides?
Normally I am not one for time period pieces, avoiding them whenever possible, but something about a medieval dragon carrying away a maiden and her man fighting for her honor against someone everyone considers to be an upstanding member of society can draw a girl in. This is a lovely story, but I do wonder what happens to Anna. Something tells me it has something to do with Aaron's annoying cousin who is the black sheep of the family.
