Book Review: Amy's Story by D'Elen McClain

    Amy is a reporter trying to track down her next big story, the struggles of being a young escort while there is a murderer on the loose. When she is attacked by this very man someone with beautiful amber eyes comes to her rescue and she awakes in a home with a kind looking woman. Alba protects her from the other men and has her returned for she will play a larger part in their lives than any of them could ever imagine.
    Marcus has loved and lost over the years and does not believe that he will ever love again after Victoria; but when he saves Amy from her attacker she smells just as sweet as his lost love. Unable to bring himself to do what is normal he brings her into his home and tells her all of their secrets. Could this strange female that his fiercest warrior is protecting with her life really be the missing part of his life?
    This book will wrap you around it's finger and make you gasp for breath if you are forced from it's pages during the read. Truly a captivating story where you feel each emotion of the characters and they become your family as well. This story is beautiful even if it does end on a bittersweet note.
