Book Review: I've Found Her by Joy Mullett (The Found Series Book 1)

Bella just got out of a bad relationship and decided it was time for a change. She put in for a job at a salon in a hotel in London and actually got it. Now that she has gotten there she is determined to make a great life for herself.  Damien was just making a stop into one of his hotels when he sees her. Now she seems to be everywhere and she is soon like an addiction.

This is another book I impulse downloaded because of one of my smut groups. Those groups get me into a lot of trouble with my TBR, but their suggestions are always so great. This book is no exception to that rule.

This is a touch her and die contemporary billionaire romance. Lots of tropes, but all ones I love. It is absolutely open door, another plus on my side, and the characters are wonderful. All of them from those in the foreground to those in the background.

I loved Damien as he tries to keep his feelings out of it until that is no longer an option for him. Meanwhile, Bella is cautious because of the relationship she just got out of. Then her ex starts stalking her and things just get worse. This book ends on a bit of a cliff-hanger, but not enough where you absolutely have to read the next book in order to get closure. I likely will end up reading the next book just because I liked this one so much.

I hope for great things for Damien and Bella in the next book as well as hopefully Bella's best friend. I hope this series is one of the ones where it grabs characters from the last book for at least one character for the next book. Keeps them interconnected and gives little updates on the other characters.

Book Review: No Way Back by Santana Knox (Darkling, Beloved Book 2)

Halloween has become my favorite holiday. It is our anniversary and after what happened last Halloween nothing can top it. But, when we are set to spend the night in an active prison I am determined to have my fun. The only thing that may keep me in some sort of check is my best friend will be there and she doesn't know this new dark side of me, but he will be. We fuel each other's madness.

I found this book in one of my groups. Someone was posting about it being too much for them and a DNF because of the very descriptive scenes. I took one look at the trigger warnings list and was in love. I did not start by reading book one, but trust me when I say it is on my TBR. Sure, there were some spoilers in this book about what went down then,  but I want to experience it first-hand.

In case you haven't already realized I loved this book. My biggest warnings is it is DARK. I have suggested it to multiple people. Those who have read it, like my aunt, questioned if I was okay when it reached the slight necro section. I am and I loved that one just as much as every blood splatter. This book is unhinged in the best way and this author has 100% been added to the list of those I will read anything by.

I genuinely hope that the end of this book for the characters is not the end for them. I am thinking of bloody and sexually charged patient activities. Oh the fun they could have in this location. Trying my damndest to be vague here.

This book is non-stop action in one form or another from her getting railed by her professor boyfriend in chapter one while he takes a phone call to every vulgar and defiling act they complete along the way. I loved every single second of this book and only wondered if I should be upping my therapy sessions once because of enjoying it so much.

Amazing read, but please for the love of all read the trigger warnings. If you have problems with things I guarantee it will be on that list and just don't read it. If you don't have trigger warnings or consider them to be a delightful all you can eat buffet read it and prepare to question your life choices in the best way.
